In Dubai, five groups of university students won a total of $100,000 for their brilliant ideas that could help people and the planet. The winners were celebrated during a special event called Prototypes for Humanity.
Over 1,200 universities from more than 120 countries sent in their best ideas. Out of all those, 100 projects were chosen to be shown in Dubai. From those, five winning teams stood out for their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Some of their ideas included a way to fight super-strong germs using a new kind of medicine, a quick test to find special enzymes that can eat plastic, and a smart system that listens to voices to check if workers are too tired. Another invention was a low-cost battery that can store clean energy using iron and air. One team even built an AI tool that can watch underground carbon dioxide to help protect the environment.
The event showed how students around the world are working hard to solve big problems—like health, energy, and pollution. The winners showed that young people can come up with powerful ideas to change the future.
